From Complexity to Clarity: How We Unified UL Info Tok into a Seamless Digital Experience

We partnered with Uradni list to transform UL Info Tok into a modern, user-friendly platform that consolidates public procurement monitoring, legal content, and subscription management. Our team delivered a fully integrated API-based system, an intuitive search engine, and a dynamic email notification engine tailored to each user’s preferences. The result is a scalable, brand-aligned solution that simplifies complex data and boosts user engagement.

 

The Challenge

Uradni list RS, d.o.o., the official publisher of Slovenia’s legislation and public procurement data, operated UL Info Tok,  a multi-functional platform offering monitoring and notification services for legislation, public tenders, and procurement-related decisions.

Over time, the platform grew in scope but became fragmented across several web portals. The user experience was inconsistent, subscription processes were disjointed, and managing email notifications across multiple systems was cumbersome.

The key challenge: unify all services into one intuitive platform while ensuring seamless integration with related portals, the existing subscription system, and custom notification logic.

The Goal

To design and deliver a new UL Info Tok website that:

• Consolidates all procurement monitoring services under a single, user-friendly interface.
• Enables profile-based filtering and search of tenders (CPV codes, contracting authorities, dates, IDs).
• Integrates with the subscription platform via API to allow registration, activation of trials, and full plan purchases.
• Links to related portals:
  zakonodaja.ulinfotok.si, e-komentarji, uradni-list.si, izobraževanja, video vsebine, and knjigarna.
• Supports monetization through ads, banners, video content, and articles.
• Aligns with the visual identity of Uradni list.
• Remains accessible and simple for all users regardless of digital skill level.
• Delivers real-time, profile-based email notifications, tailored to each user’s specific needs.

  Integrated all related portals under a cohesive experience with smooth cross-navigation and consistent structure.
• Smart Advertising Framework
  Enabled static and dynamic ad placements, including video and sponsored content options, for new revenue streams.
• Profile-Based Email Notification System
  Developed and integrated an advanced email engine that dynamically assembles content based on each user’s profile and preferences. Users receive real-time, tailored email notifications with direct links to relevant tenders, legal content, and portals enhancing engagement and user satisfaction.
• Full Brand Alignment
  Delivered all components in compliance with Uradni list’s CGP, ensuring a seamless brand experience across all services.
